I’ve wanted to make this for quite awhile. Came out quite large! Larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The Caron One Pound yarn tends to be a bit thicker than RHSS so that probably contributed some to the size. Instead of the crochet bow in the pattern, I wanted Emily to have a circus type ruffled collar, so used part of an Ira Rott pattern for that. The tail I made a bit smaller around (12 sts. around) because I thought the pattern made it too “chunky” looking for an elephant. In my opinion. I found the cartoon style eyes at Amazon and thought they’d be perfect for my Emily! (they are 18mm)
