First pic is true to colour. The only thing I did different from pattern was to add 5 rpts to the main pattern … plus a lot of undoing and reknitting :D

I cast off with larger needles because I was worried about it being too tight and after blocking I think it was actually a bit loose.

Overall I’m really pleased with the result, it’s my first big lace project on laceweight yarn and I think I did a pretty good job.

A very big thank you to the lovely ladies at Goosepond who hunted around to find the colour that I wanted, I think my pal will be happy with it :)
