I love this pattern and after making it a few times it was much easier this time. It’s really worth persevering with it because it makes a hat that looks good and that’s really warm.

I really wanted ear flaps, so I did three clusters, slip stitched back and did two clusters, then cut the yarn. I joined yarn further round and did the same, then I did the edging round the whole lot, using a lot of guesswork round the earflaps.

I’m not sure if I like the result or not!
