I used the leftovers from my wee liesl project and made a beanie inspired by the stitched of this pattern by Ysolda. I modified the chart of the stitch for it to be less textured and flatter for the head of a new born.

I casted on 96 stitches, made 6 rows of 1x1 ribbing, and worked 11 cm in pattern before decreasing.

The size was perfect for the first month and half of my baby, and the beanie could have been worn longer if i had made more ribbing.
