swatching has begun!

starting out with size 8 Zephyrs, made a nice generous swatch 32 stitches wide

will wash and block tomorrow

on US size 8 my gauge is 14 st by 18 rows

just made the 15th raglan increase after the neck increases

have found my stride with incorporating the increases into the 6x2 ribbing: i wait til there are 9 knit stitches between the last 2 purls and the stitch marker. on the next right side row, i purl the existing 3, knit 6, purl 2 new ones and then using the last knit stitch before the stitch marker to work the increase

4/11/15 - dragging this beautiful sweater out of hibernation!

I’d left off just after dividing for the sleeves and now i’m ready to tackle the first cable chart repeat! ~wiggles~
