This was supposed to be a quickie project, using some stash yarns. (2 lightweight yarns, held together.) I noticed I was cutting it super close, so I skipped rows 5 & 6 in the scalloped lace edging (since rows 1-6 were repeats of the same stitches, I didn’t think it would matter.)

I ran out of the darker yarn 6 stitches from the end, while binding off. I substituted in a slightly heavier black yarn for those remaining stitches, as it was the closest match I had. You really can’t tell the difference unless you are looking for it.
