These sat waiting for a few months, while I delayed in adding on the final ribbing on the top - but they’re lovely now that they’re done. The only issue I have is that the lace pattern gets distorted toward the top of the calf the higher you make them, and I wanted to make them as long as possible (I can’t stand slouchy socks that end mid-way up the leg) - should have added in a gusset or an extra pattern repeat somewhere. But, they fit, they’re lovely, and the yarn can’t be beat.

Also, can I say - best toe-up heel ever! It looks like an Eye Of Partridge flap heel, but there’s no picking up of stitches. You ssk or k2tog the whole thing together - magic! I’ve now used the same technique on other toe-up socks, with great success.
