Notes

I’ve had this gorgeous skein of hand-spun Leicester in my stash for quite a few months now and I couldn’t figure out what type of hat I wanted it to become. I knew it wanted to be cables and turned into a warm winter hat, so this came out perfect. I had to make the brim 4” instead of the pattern suggested 6” because I wasn’t sure if I would have enough yarn to complete the pattern. Turns out I could have made the brim a little wider because I have 24grams of yarn left. Still happy with the way it turned out though!

The yarn is hand-spun in the Netherlands by a woman who purchases her Leicester fleeces from Germany.
