Tubular cast on, knit both setup rows and the next k1p1 flat before joining in the round. Knit about an inch of ribbing; last two rounds k1 around, k1p1.

8g left in the first skein, 3.5” of sweater. Should be able to get 5.25” of sweater out of each ball, so I’ll probably end up using 4 of my 5 skeins on the body with one left over for sleeves. By these calculations, it should work out…

At 9.5” as of this morning, still quite a bit of ball #2 left. I will definitely have enough yarn.

Joined ball #3 with about 11” of sweater completed.

Joined ball #4 as I was beginning the first side of the neck shaping on the front.

Sleeves: picked up 60 sts. Did one decrease round after 15 rounds; knitting without decreases until 6”, doing one more decrease (so that I’ll have an even number of stitches) and then doing the ribbing and binding off. It’s plenty snug as it is.

Sleeve cuff: 2 repeats broken rib (k1p1 around, k1 around), 3 repeats ribbing, suspended bind off.
