This is all t3hist’s fault.

I’ve had this yarn since before December 2012, since I got it as part of the “MAKE ALL THE SOCKS” gift planning with intent to use it for my roommate’s girlfriend… who he then broke up with in early December. It’s kind of been languishing since then (I tried to do a sock MKAL with it but I really disliked them).

On Wednesday, t3hist posted a Wanderlust with fingering yarn, and I liked the look of it so much I had to make some. Didn’t bother swatching, just dived in.

I’m too lazy for a provisional cast-on and I don’t mind having a seam on my mitts, so I just used long-tail and mattress stitch at the end. Ended up switching the c12f with c12b entirely by mistake. Looks fine, though, so I’ll keep it.

To get mitts that fit: I did three cable repeats on the first mitt before the thumb and only 11 rows total of the fourth.
