Ordering yarn for the real afghan, which I plan to make 50” x 70”. Estimating that I’ll need approx. (15) 200 yard skeins. Will order a couple extra to be sure.

Received my Bernat yarn today…let the stitching begin. Beautiful soft shiny yarn. I would consider it to be a true medium worsted weight and not an aran weight.

Pattern description: Palisade is a word of French-origin referring to a fence or a wall, which resembles the throw’s knit-look ribbed texture. The fabric drapes beautifully, is completely reversible (the same on both sides) and features a lacy edging for a touch of elegance.
