This sock has had a very long and sorry life before it even became a sock. Working the stripes drove me mad then the cable on the circular needle got broke during a whole lot of stress and upheaval so we needed a break. I did try and finish it off at the beginning of the year because surely six months is a little too long for a sock to be hanging around on the needles?! It only needs a toe! Well, that didn’t work. It’s still on the needles, just a few rows from finally becoming a sock. (It does seem like a very long toe though). So for Stash Dash 2014, I have decided that this lone sock will be done. I say lone sock because I have no plans to work the second. Well, I might eventually. Stash Dash 2015?!

The toe looks ridiculously long but fits alright, the heel cables I think will make it very cushion-y but the cuff is very short and tight.
