Notes

nov 2011- after several holes, a couple of patch jobs, and then more holes, i ripped these. the yarn is still perfectly good. might use it to make more socks, but it was obvious this pair was not meant to be.

5/22/09- so annoying! found a hole in the toe! ugh. i still have some yarn leftover… and the toes turned out different lengths (mystery!) so, i’ll rip out the original toe and knit a new one to match the other.

2/7/09- blocked, pictures, etc. details on my blog.

2/3/09- time for the toe!

2/1/09- turned the heel on numero dos!

1/30/09-cast on for sock two.

10/2/08- re-started the yarn in the child’s first sock pattern from knitting vintage socks. i was pleased that the number of stitches in the leg (63) seemed to be the perfect number for the spiraling affect. tres cool. oddly, i am at about the same place i was when i took pomatomus pics. oh, changed from size 2 needles to size 1.

7/26/08- both the yarn and the pattern (pomatomus) are so beautiful, and i don’t think they were doing each other justice. they will hide away until i find better mates for them.
