Mods:

• Different yarn, needle size 8mm
• seed stitch, rather than garter stitch
• knit from the long side up (using different yarn & needles, I don’t want to run out of yarn before the piece is long enough around the neck)
• ended up a little loose, could have cast on less

(This yarn is wonderfully chunky and springy and soft! The garter stitch was a great choice - I love the look of it, and it is a fun texture.)
