Modifications: downsized to 3 mos; numbers given in notes below.

Lion Brand’s Eyelet Yoke Cardigan doesn’t come smaller than 6 months, so I’m modifying the design for a 0-3 months size…since Zoe’s due in a month and a sweater won’t be necessary here in south TX by the time she’s 6 months old! I already made her one in the 1 year size, but I promised Mom I’d try to get it small enough to wear for this year.

11/4 - Did I say Zoe was due in a month? So much for having until late Nov--Zoe showed up a month early, on Oct 27! Still, as a preemie she’s small and a 6 month size cardigan would still be too big. The end result looks like it’s the perfect size; modifications below.

BACK
c/o 39 sts, work for 4” (22 rows), end with 33 sts

FRONTS
c/o 23 sts, work for 4”, end with 20 sts

SLEEVES
c/o 25 sts, inc EOR 3x and every 4th row 3x to 37 sts, work for 4”, end with 31 sts

YOKE
Begin w/ 135 sts
Row 1: dec 5 (130 sts)
Row 5: add K1 after and before seed sts (106 sts)
Rows 7-12: skip the first time; knit only as part of Rows 18-28
Row 17 & 29: same as Row 5 (82 sts / 58 sts)
