Continuing the pattern on the gusset was too much for my brain cell, but I did decide to resume the full pattern on both needles on the rest of the foot going down to the toe.

The pattern shifts the chart by a quarter round and I found this confusing so I needed to draw my own chart to make it simpler. ANYTHING to simplify colorwork is good.

This is a great pattern and lovely that it’s free, but I do think it would be hugely improved by providing new charts once the start of the round shifts to a different point in the pattern repeat. Or better yet, just starting all the knitting from the “new” point from the get go so that no shifting needs to occur at all.
