I used almost all of two skeins of the main yarn, and I nearly made it with just one skein of the contrast color, but ran short at bindoff so I attached the second skein just for bindoff. Go figure!

LOVE this shawl. While I was knitting, I wasn’t sure I would. The main color was so… gray gray gray, and not even a gray that kept me petting it, and the yarn was nothing special to work with either.

Even as I bound off, I was certain I’d be giving the shawl away to someone who could appreciate it more.

As soon as it was off the needles though - magic! - I fell in love. It may be my new favorite. I only wish I’d knit the larger size, but upon blocking it’s still a lovely sized shawl!
