casting on in preparation of movie night marathons.

after working on galactica (what with 200+ sts cast on) it was a bit of a relief to start with CO 1 st. beautiful. gets to the knitting right away.

5/8/2013: bind off took like three hours! but the beautiful part is there are only four ends to weave in!

it’s a very nice light shawl! very soft and shiny. and superwash! i’ll update in august when it gets gifted. (until then, i’m going to wear it around and test-drive it first)
