2107 Knitting Club Yarn (Morning Light) with add-on colors Hot Pants and Go Go Boots.

I haven’t a clear idea of who will end up wearing this as it is so far out of my own color comfort zone, but this is luscious yarn, and the pattern looks like fun. I love mosaic knitting which is a feature of this design.

Two things I did that made this knit go more smoothly:

1. Followed the designer’s suggestion to use stitch markers between the repeats in the mosaic section.

2. Enlarged the mosaic charts before printing to make them easier to follow. (My eyesight ain’t what it used to be.)

This proved to be a fun and rather quick knit. Very detailed pattern, well-written with line-by-line instructions as well as charts. Designer included tips on yarn quantities, and helpful details about her sample.

The tassels are a stylish finishing option, and I am not sure if I will make them. I had quite a bit of yarn left and plan to make some mitts--I’ll see what I have then.
