Super cute beanie by Anna Johanna. If you leave off the bow, it’s a unisex hat.

I would not recommend using aran weight yarn like I did unless you have a very large head like mine (23” circumference). I made an effort to knit tightly to match gauge. I reduced the length of my ribbing to 3.25 inches (rather than 4.75 inches as the pattern suggests) because my row gauge was longer. I can seldom match both stitch and row gauge. This hat fits my head perfectly and Denny can wear it too.

Yarn used = 163 yards / 149 meters

Weight of finished hat = 2.5 oz
