2.10.2012 Cast-on 850 stitches using the long-tail cast-on with a size 8 needle. Added stitches because I want this loooong and I am using a size 6 needle for the body of the scarf.

3.8.2012 After some on again, off again knitting I have decided that I need to knit at least 2 rows of this scarf each day (each row takes about 50 minutes to knit if I am not interrupted) or I will never finish it. I am almost to the end of the 2nd skein of yarn.

3.16.2012 Had gall bladder removed at 9 am--brought knitting along just in case I had to spend the night at the hospital. I spent the night and was so drugged up that I couldn’t stay awake to knit!

3.30.2012 48th wedding anniversary--I celebrated by finishing this scarf! I love it! DH loves it too! In fact, he would like to wear it. It took me 2 hours to bind off in linen stitch, with lots of interruptions. Scarf is 10 feet long and 4 inches wide--a perfect length for my long winter coat.
