New technique(s) learned: thumb gusset without a hole.

I hate that my palms are like an inch and a half wider than my wrists. I can’t comfortably get my hand through a size M, but the L is too loose around my wrists….guh. That’s not a flaw with this pattern though, just my weird arms. M would be marginally better for my wrists, but L is perfect for my palm. Sigh. Such is life.

21/6/13: Finished the right glove. Thumb is kinda weird?, but manageable. I was being dumb when I was knitting this about halfway, because there’s an accidental yarn over in the middle of the glove, and it’s so annoying. Tomorrow I’ll undo the bind off, hold all the stitches, drop down to that one mistake, and hook it back up.

Don’t remember how many stitches I picked up for the thumb gusset? 6 or 7? Worked I think 4 or 5 decreases. Anyway.

22/6/13: Dropped down to the yarn over and turned it into a lifted increase. Still a hole, but a muuuuch much teenier one, and you really have to be looking for it to find it. For the sake of being matchy matchy, I might do the same increase on the left glove.
