Notes

Great, well-written pattern—but these mitts went so slowly! I think they felt like molasses because I had to pay such constant close attention to the st patt. Very pretty, though.

Used Estonian CO. CO 48 sts.

Trying 2.75 mm 9” circular.
Sport weight yarn, so I will try the size small and hope they fit my 8” hands nicely with some negative ease.

I didn’t decrease on the last thumb round.

I had planned on using Ella Rae Lace Merino for this pattern, and then a while back I put it into hibernation. When I found the hibernating project, I decided to use the current grey sport weight alpaca instead. Notes re: Ella Rae Lace Merino (since I swatched a while back): On 2.75 mm ndl (9”), flat gauge is 17.5 sts/2”, so 35 sts/4”. I didn’t swatch in the round; likely 36 sts or so.
