Mods: To make a less conspicuous join, I’m doing ch 2 at the beg of the rnd (not counting as a dc), and sl st in the first dc to join at the end of the rnd.

To make the spikes at the brim of the hat more pronounced, I worked sc, sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in the next st, sk 2 sts

I didn’t stuff the spikes.

To save time, I made the spots out of felt. I may replace them with crocheted spots eventually, if only to make the hat washable.
