Notes

This is turning out to be quite a quick knit, with the body complete in less than two days!

I wanted a simple, go with everything cardigan and was having a hard time deciding between teal and grey. I knit so much in blue that I decided grey it would be.

The tubular cast on is brilliant. I don’t know why I haven’t used it for ribbing before. It gives the sweater a very professional looking finish.

I did have a bit of trouble getting the cast on for the sleeves. Here is what I did. I cast on flat (meaning did the backwards loop cast on and knit the 4 rows) and once complete I joined in the round. Because you have an even number of stitches, not odd the way the instructions in the glossary lay it out, you have to read your knitting and not rely on the instructions verbatim.

This is a very cozy cardigan and is a cross between a knit blazer and a sweater fit for a grandpa. If that makes sense.
