9/4/10 - cast off the waist ribbing on this sweater and ripped back the first sleeve - the sleeve was WAYYY too long -

a bit annoyed with the gauge - it’s turning out a tiny bit wider and sleeves a bit bigger than I think I want… I’m trudging forward though; I don’t believe this yarn will like being ripped back again… besides; it’s almost done (just sleeves to go)

9/9/10 decided this sweater will be perfect for my friend Anthony! Talked with his husband and arranging to meet and measure a sweater of his to be sure it fits!

10/29/10 ripped out the base ribbing - the yarn was too thick (Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky) - and got it ready for whatever yarn I decide to use for the ribbing. Then (immediately) put it back in hibernation.

6/10/11 picked back up - other projects are almost done, and need to get this one finished. It’s amazing how we don’t just FINISH things that are so close to being done! Armed with measurements, the body needs to be lengthened a touch, then I’ll have to decide what to do for the ribbing. I think I might actually have enough of this yarn to finish the sweater -- so I left the ball of yarn attached to the waist (without starting the ribbing) and plan to do the same with sleeve #1 until sleeve #2 is complete enough to decide what I’m going to do.

6/18/11 finished sleeve #2, the ribbing at the bottom and the neckband… blocked and done!

8/23/11 renamed this “Cinderella’s Slipper” because it’s the case of the sweater whose owner was selected based on fit!
