This project was started forever ago when I needed something mindless to knit… I keep thinking about ripping it out, but press forward knowing there’s not much else I would do with 3 leftover balls of yarn from a sweater. With no other use for that yarn, the project continues to progress, slowly, whenever I’m at a loss for a mindless knit.

11/2/11 - Update - still my “go-to” mindless knitting project… it sits in my studio being neglected more than it deserves. It’s getting closer and closer to completion (worked on it a few hours yesterday) but still has a ways to go. I keep talking myself out of binding it off to “call it done” because I have 1 1/2 balls of yarn still to work into it and it will make a beautiful long scarf if I just stay patient!

11/21/11 - FINALLY finished this one - it just needs the ends woven in and to be blocked.
