My SIL pointed this pattern out to me as something she might like, so I made a test case out of the only suitable yarn I had around. I liked it alright, so I went ahead and bought more yarn. A gray one for my SIL, and a tan one for my MIL.

I’m not really in love with these. I don’t care for the way the increases/decreases look. They’ve inspired me to come up with my own design, using cables.
