Knit the body in the round on US8s, then switched to US9 for knitting flat to match gauge. I wanted something a little larger than the stated gauge on the yarn label, for a drapy fabric. I knit the sleeves flat using US 9. Winged the sleeve cap because my gauge was different and all.

I wanted a loose fit, on the long side, especially positive ease in the arms and long sleeves that can roll. I got exactly what I was looking for!
