Afterthoughts
:: Really enjoyed working cables, but not thrilled with all of the piecing-together of this project.

:: Also if I were to make this again would definitely add MORE LENGTH to the body and find a way to incorporate pockets.

:: Found the shoulder seams a little choppy to sew together, but it worked out

:: LOVE the S&C Sweater yarn…that and the color are my favorite part of this sweater…it’s so cozy and heavy! - used almost the FULL 7 skeins

REALLY want to learn how to incorporate cables into my knitting, so this is the VERY FIRST time I’m attempting…just started knitting 2 months ago…so this has been an easy first-cable project so far.

7/7/10 :: ordered yarn ;)

7/8/10 :: would you believe my yarn from LOOP came today!

7/13/10 :: cast on and started cable-ing…it’s VERY easy to read this pattern and even the cables and chart are simple to understand :)

7/19/10 :: This sweater yarn from Spud & Chloe is awesome! Love the feel of the wool/cotton blend and of course in love with the “grape jelly” color

…working up quickly…

8/3/10 :: Working finishing and hood…as soon as the front/back/sleeves are finished being blocked

8.27.10 :: just have to finish seaming…determined to finish this today!
