1/11/14 Bought yarn today, and am working on getting the right gauge. Had to order two new crochet hooks, as “G” is too small for gauge, and “H” may be a little too big. Here’s hoping “7” is perfect.

1/25/14 I wasn’t happy with the length or how the hem was falling, so I decided to do another row of pineapples, and I took it back to row 30 and eliminated the increase in the sides for a slightly less flared look. I thought the flare to be borderline at row 35 for what I wanted it to look like, and I knew it would get more emphasized with more length.
