Notes

thinking 1) I have loose gauge usually & 2) my kiddo is smaller than kiddo in the pattern, I first started with 40 stitches instead of 60. Got about 3 inches done before she got home for the night & realized her little thighs would NOT fit, so started over. Now have a 60 stitch cast-on row, and that’s it. LOL

mindless knitting is good when you’re tired, I’ve got almost all of one little leg done! yarn is knitting up super cute! :)
____
1/29/12 - one done & tried on, she likes them! :) I stopped at about 13 inches or so because I was afraid of running out of yarn for the 2nd one… next time I’ll get 2 balls of yarn. :)
_____
2/7/12 - NNOOOOOO!!!! ran out of yarn :(
_____
2/17/12 - well, the different dye lot is obvious to me, but probably not to a non-knitter :) She likes them & wore them to school & dance class today! :)
