3-12-19 - seamed the sleeves and blocked. wow! it dried beautifully! so soft and lightweight - this is gonna get a lot of use around here!

3-10-19 - all done except for the sleeve seams! I worked a 3-stitch i-cord bindoff on the front edges since I knew I didn’t want to wear it buttoned.

3-6-19 - finished the body (no pockets) with a tubular bindoff (to match the collar). decided to knit the sleeves flat, bracelet length and with a matching tubular bindoff. finished sleeve #1 yesterday and I’m nearly halfway through sleeve #2 today (woot for size 7 needles!)

2-27-19 - whew! halfway through the body and almost ready to join the 3rd ball. the yarn is yummy, the stockinette is mindless. and I love it!

I found this pattern for a friend of my mom who wanted a simple cardigan silhouette to embellish with stripes and maybe a little fair isle. To encourage her, I promised to knit along. Sadly, the knitting caused her a lot of pain … and I’m now knitting this on my own. but I’m going to have a really pretty sweater when I’m done. This designer is new to me, and so far I’m impressed. Her instructions are impeccable. I love the way she curved the raglan increases - they’re not just straight lines.
