I loved knitting this pattern. Chart a was a breeze to knit through, but I had a little trouble getting row 1 of chart b started. Once I got through row 1 it was really easy too. I think it would be a good first lace pattern for someone.

I made mine a little bigger than the pattern said and I added beads to the stems in the edging.
