While this yarn would be far from my first choice for socks, my friend Raith is extremely sensitive to all wools. While visiting us for the weekend in Spetember 2011, he chose this yarn for me to make him a pair of socks.

Second sock cast on Jan. 23rd, and completed Jan. 29th.

Cast on 72 sts, doing a 2x1 ribbing throughout.
Leg: 75 rounds, approx. 6½” long.
Heel: 18 sl st rows, picked up 18 sts along flap; Sl1, p18, p2tog, p1, turn, sl1, k3, ssk, k1, turn.
Decrease to 72 sts; 75 rounds from gusset to toe dec’s.
Knit 1 row even, then begin toe dec’s to 9 sts/needle.
