Migration Pullover
Improv by Karen Templer
Me-sized, plus some ease
Needles & yarn
US 7 - 4.5 mm
5.5 stitches and 7 rows = 1 inch
Ella Rae Lace Merino Worsted

Scrapped the first two versions, as I didn’t like the way they were turning out.

Gauge: 5.5sts x 7 rows

Yarn is supposed to be grey, but is really more of a very muted beige/pink with shots of pale grey occasionally.

Using “flying geese” motif on front and back; begins at the top of the body on the back, and partway down the body on the front. I’m including some garter rows in a sea of stockinette to add interest to the front a bit.

Starting counts:

Back: 36 stitches
Arms: 13 stitches

2sts for raglans each side.

1 st each end for front.

Shaping neck back and forth: ~ 2 inches

Front count: 48 (cast on 22 sts extra)

Increasing every other row evenly.

Stopping point:

Front: 56 sts

arms: 35 sts

Back: 56 sts
