Notes

20100429- 5:15p HAH!!! turned out nothing as i envisioned but i love it all the same, not sure it’s fit to be seen in public, but as proof that (a) i should not design and (b) that a fingering weight hat at this tension and this pattern looks like this it has succeeded really really well. ;)
20100429- 7:45a finished main body of hat (5”) and ready for crown decreases. not sure a space/hand dye is best for this. solid would work better. Need to measure stitch/row tension.
20100426- Inspired by quite a few hats. Not sure that CO 96 was enough w/smaller needle and am not happy with the way the purl relief next to the cable braid is pairing with the short rows but…. time will tell. i already think i’ll be knitting more of these… just hope my method is different enough i don’t step on anyone’s © toes. was on train not wanting to knit patterns I had with me. impossible for me to buy a pattern via MY crackberry… so I got erm.. innovative.
