20100608- mailed off the Cayenne. It got a bit wrinkled post dryer because I forgot to take it out straight away. Really hope the little one doesn’t mind. Feel a bit guilty just shoving it in the envelope and mailing it off like that but if I didn’t mail it today I probably would forget for weeks…
20100601, pm- just need to weave in ends and block… used only 57g … better mail it quick so it still might fit for an hour!
20100601, am- finally started bottom detail. Pathetic progress considering I knit plain stockinette! (ok ok I didn’t give this full attentions!)
20100518- length currently 7.5in.
20100517- chugging along on Y 9mo in Cayenne. plain body (no cable), may embroider may leave plain. feel guilty i like stuff plain.
20100509- gathering up yarns to get back to work. sigh the longer i wait the larger I have to knit! Y 9mo is next!
20100412- gifted! it looks like it’ll fit! another baby boy was born last week so there’s another one to knit… if i had planned ahead i could have knitted the newborn size. sigh
20100411- first one done. just over half of a ball (.67 if i recall correctly). washed & dried by machine. hope G’s son likes it & i really see him tomorrow. will then decide what size to knit the rest.
20100325- 23cm from top of shoulder. didn’t have much time to knit.
20100324- 18cm from top of shoulder. in the nice mindless knitting phase with a cable to make sure i don’t miss my train station stop.. also, i checked (finally) i have spot on stitch gauge! ~32row/10cm for row gauge. whatever, stitch is more important for this.
20100323,a- divided arms during morning commute. pre-coffee so lazily did backward loop to CO the underarms. really like the BO technique.
20100321- finally freed up my 16” interchangeable cable (I should buy more of those). Will knit 3 of these for all the cute baby boys in my life. 12mo for the bigger boys, 9mo for the wee one. Will use Sky, Cayenne, and Spring Leaf. Will use one project page for all three. First up sky, size 12mo for G.
