I cannot wait to cast this on….this evening!!…hmm maybe when I get in from the hairdressers this afternoon?!?!

Border almost completed, will be picking up the stitches this evening, 24th march 2011

I picked up the stitches and knitted about 6 rows when I decided to make the next size up, I don’t like my shawls too small…so I then unpicked those 6 rows and knitted the extra rows of the first border. I have now picked up the stitches and will start the border again tonight.. 25th March 2011

Added new photos of my progress, I can’t help feeling that i should have done the larger size as I have plenty of yarn.. 7th April 2011

Very lovely, hope it blocks to be a bit bigger though :)

It has blocked to be of a good size, however, next time I shall cast on at least the large size :)
