Notes

This was fun! I needed a few more winter hats, so thought this would be the perfect opportunity to practice new techniques in the round. Learned how to smock and do a centered double decrease with this hat. I used a 3.0mm for the entire thing, like the variation listed on the pattern page, since I wanted the hat to be roomy enough to stuff my hair in. I also tend to pull my hats down to my eyebrows and over my ears when it gets really chilly, so it’s very suitable for that. I went with a smaller needle to compensate for my loose knitting. Overall, a very wearable and pretty hat!
