There is a hole after finishing the heel short rows and resuming knitting in the round! How to get rid of this??
Here is another sock pattern I’m interested in trying, it has a mention of what they do to prevent the holes but it’s not a short row pattern. It does mention the method could be used for short row heels though? Link to pattern on Ravelry: here.
Hmm, more thoughts on preventing holes in short row heels here. At bottom of tute it says to wrap the next non-heel st on the last short row.
Other people have suggested just picking up a st or two in the hole area and decreasing afterwards.
Note to self- I did 43 rows after finishing toe before starting heel.
I had 25g of yarn left afterwards. I guess that’s about 50m…
