Very excited to be doing my first MYSTERY KAL. My original goal was to use all stash for this project but I did purchase the Raccoon Hollow from someone’s destash. That still counts right? lol

08.01.2011 : Was very nervous at the thought of intarsia but I decide to try anyway. If there were ever a man that could make me do intarsia it’d no doubt be Mr. Stephen West. It is looking good so far. I’m relieved that clue 1 was like a baby step. Looking forward to the next clue.

08.08.2011 : Clue #2 = DONE! I’m totally loving this knit. I’m so glad I didn’t give up when I learned it was intarsia. I cannot wait for the next clue. Photo to come later this week.

08.21.2011 : Clue #3 was finished today. I decided this week to just make the small instead of the large as I had planned. I think it’s a really neat design, but I don’t see myself wearing it as a shawl. I’d wear it as more as a kerchief so it didn’t seem practical for me to make it so big. Basically, I don’t think I could pull it off as a shawl. Sorry still no photo…I’ll try to get an updated photo soon. fail

08.24.2011 : Bound off tonight. Pretty happy with this shawl. I like the look of it but it’s not really my colors so it will probably be a Christmas gift for my mom. Yay! One Christmas gift out of the way!

08.31.2011 : Blocking! FO photos to come soon. Disappointed that the red bled a bit and tinted the whole thing. Meh.
