Used 8mm needles rather than 9mm needles as given in the pattern. Cast on 145 stitches to make up for the smaller needle size.

It’s 8.25 inches in width rather than the 15 suggested in the pattern. A cowl that’s 15 inches wide was always going to be too bulky for me. As luck would have it, I ran out of yarn at just the right width for me. I used a sewn bind off to match the long tail cast on.

Originally I used this yarn to make a diagonal lace scarf. It unfortunately curled like the dickens, so it had to be frogged. No signs of it curling in its new form thus far!
