Notes

currently knitting up gauge with rowan milk cotton dk.. suggested by my lys owner, shes then going to guide me on the pattern

26/04/2010
the bust is almost finished now, can start on the lace pattern in the next few days and also insert the elastic support for the top of the dress so i can make sure the bust length is long enough

27/04/2010
i have sewn in the elastic suport now so not much more stocking stitch to do before i increase and start the lace pattern

28/04/2010 lace started looking good!

04/05/2010
top pic is of today.. excuse my bloated tummy!
looking good though, will be doing one more pattern repeat then moving onto 3.1/4 needles

06/05/2010
moving onto 3.25 needles now

11/05/2010
taken a picture with the ribbon on top of the dress to see how it looks.. really like the way its turning out.
it now reaches my hips so will change to 3.75mm needles next

18/05/2010
just taken latest picture of the dress with the ribbon tied round to get a real picture of what the dress will look like once completed.
the back just covers my bottom so going to move up another needle size to get the dress to flow outwards now.

20/05/2010
my dress is going to be featured in next issue of lets knit! yay!!

27/05/2010
moving onto 4mm needles now

29/05/2010
todays picture added, its mini dress length now

01/06/2010
almost reaches knee length now! not long to go :O)

03/06/2010
well i tried the dress on today and its Way too clingy to my hips, bottom & thighs.
so ripped it back a few pattern repeats and got the idea from soniah72’s beach cover up to increase between purl stitches to form some more pattern blocks, so ive added 5 more panels of pattern to the dress, im quite suprised at how eays it was to do it without it looking silly/messy

06/06/2010
new pictures added

07/06/2010
more pics added, with even more extra patt repeats, the dress now has All the repeads (increases) it needs to flow out really well :O) soo glad That bit is over with!
now just to knit… knit… knit… til its floor length!

added a picture of the wedding day jewellery ive made to go with my dress! i used fresh water pearls and swarovski crystals

18/06/2010
added yet another picci its just over the knee now, not long to go! i cant take pics with it on n e more its too long to get it all in ther pic, second pic down is most recent

30/06/2010
just finished my wedding tiara so saved a picci here too so u can all see the whole outfit together as one piece :O)

01/07/2010
latest picture added!! its soo long now!1 only a few inches left… i am Sooo excited & Soo Happy its almost done!!

12/07/2010
ran out of yarn again so started on the lace shawl (in my projects) i tried the dress on again this morning and its down to my ankles!! so only maybe 2 more balls of yarn needed for this!! will be picking more yarn up on 15th july

20/07/2010
Finally got more yarn but starting to think about straps now, ive got the book knitted lingerie style and i think im going to do the bra straps from the basic bra (also on ravelry) for the dress starps as they are quite flat to the skin so wont interupt the elastic on the dress
Really not very far off now :-)

26/07/2010
straps added, all loose threads sewn in, just got to CO now B-)

04/08/2010
wedding pic added :-)
