This is the Magellanic kit by La Bien Aimée for the Comfort Fade Cardi.

Thank you to Andrea for letting us test knit this great sweater.

Notes on the sweater: The fade on the reverse stockinette is amazing. The sleeves as they are written have negative ease. I plan to knit another one and I will have a more relaxed sleeve on my second version. I read on Andrea’s forum that we can pick up more stitches if needed and slow down the rate of decrease.

I’ve been wearing this sweater pretty much non stop since the pattern launch. It’s the perfect weight to wear a tunic or a tank top with jeans. I’m pleased that I knit the sweater to the length called for in the pattern and it hits me perfectly. I’m 5’7. The sleeves were knit with negative ease as written and after about a month of wearing the sweater the yarn has relaxed slightly and the sleeves feel great now.
