Meet Lollipop, an elephant destined for a new home. I hope my swap partner likes the colors I chose for him. He’s very cheery and is anxious to keep his new friend company.

10/4/11: Second attempt at the knitted requirement for the swap. Nothing wrong with pattern, only user error. Finished half of the body. Really like how the colors are blending.

10/8/11: Feeling the time crunch as the mail-out date is looming. Technically tomorrow (Oct. 9), but won’t get mailed until at least Monday since the 9th is a Sunday. The head/trunk, body and legs are all finished. I finished one ear but it looks too small so I’m going to re-do the ears to try and make them a tad larger. Then it’s attaching the ears and head, making up the tail and embroidering the face and ta-da! He’ll be finished!

Then it’s just a matter of getting the rest of the swap goodies completed and piled together.
