My Rhinebeck sweater! I did finish in time to wear it at Rhinebeck (briefly, on Sunday - it was too warm to wear the whole day). I love it. I love the color and the soft, squishy yarn (Berroco Pure Merino), the fit and collar, everything. :) I’ve worn it nearly every day since coming back from Rhinebeck!

I’ve gained a bit of weight since starting the sweater last November, and with its current ease I don’t feel that the way it is supposed to close - with a series of big buttons at the top, sort of pea coat-ish - is that flattering. BUT I do like it hanging open or with a shawl pin like this. It’s cozy and I think it looks really cute.

Luckily I had decided during the knitting to close the sweater with snaps and have faux buttons on the front, rather than do buttonholes, so I have this option! I’m really happy with this sweater. :)

Of note for yardage requirements: I used every inch of yarn for the 40” size (I didn’t have to unravel my swatch, but it was close!) and didn’t modify any lengths. I am really pleased that the sleeves fit without mods (that never happens).
