This is so cute and I’ll make it again, but I’ll knit the sleeves in the round. I’ll also change the buttonhole placement for the 12 month size. I’d move the 1st button down further (I sewed my hole shut as it was nearly up in the armpit) and leave off the lowest button (this time I knit 4 rows beneath it because I couldn’t see ending the sweater with the button hanging over the edge).

I’m not sure how much yarn I used since it was in several small balls from Mer’s stash. Probably just over 1 skein.
