Used H (5.0mm) hook so that he’d be a little taller. Also did an inc to 33 sts between rnds 26 and 27. Did a rnd of sc. Then dec back to 30 sts before resuming with end 27, to make belly a little longer and rounder. Changed his mouth.

And did amigurumi style:

• Did not sl st to end round (pattern didn’t specify which way to do this, but looking at the photos of completed product, that’s definitely what they did) Also, because of doing it this, the brown stripes on the back didn’t line up so I had to work around that.
• Did the hidden “sc dec.”

Turned out nice! Hopefully the person who requested it from me will love it.
