Being a much-needed replacement for my favorite olive cardigan (Target circa 2010 or so) that has been worn to rags.

I’m incredibly happy with how this turned out. The pattern was everything that I wanted in a cardigan, and the Tern (my first Quince!) was an absolute dream to knit.

Notes:

• Knitted Size 44”, which (also factoring in the larger gauge) resulted in about 8-10” worth of positive ease, because my heart belongs to a boxy fit.
• Eliminated sleeve decreases and knit them to bracelet length with 1.5” of ribbing at the cuff.
• Picked up 271-stitches for button-band/collar.
• Four buttonholes placed every 17-stitches, starting from the bottom.

Update (2021): After a year-plus of wear, decided to make some adjustments. Ripped back the sleeves and reknit them a bit tighter, then ripped back the button band and reknit a slimmer band with no button holes. Updated photos (while wearing dress) taken during Me Made May 2022.
